What will be your purpose?

We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist to design and implement advanced supply chain analytics solutions for a leading aviation-sector organization. 

The role focuses on inventory optimization, operational efficiency and business-driven decision making through data science and optimization techniques.

What will the day-to-day look like?

• Develop supply chain models and analytical solutions using Python.

• Optimize inventory performance across complex networks.

• Model slow-moving parts and multi-echelon inventory strategies.

• Balance service levels and operational costs through advanced analytics.

• Build and deploy production-ready solutions and data pipelines.

• Apply optimization, simulation and software engineering best practices.

• Work with large, complex and imperfect datasets.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define priorities and maximize business value.

• Learn and apply specialized supply chain technologies and methodologies.

Valuable Background:

• Strong experience in Supply Chain Analytics and Optimization.

• Expertise in inventory management and multi-echelon inventory models.

• Experience balancing service levels, fill rates and operational costs.

• Advanced Python skills for analytics and production solutions.

• Experience with optimization and simulation techniques.

• Ability to work independently in complex environments.

• Background in aviation, logistics, automotive or related industries.

• Barcelona-based (3 days/week) with regular travel to the UK and occasional travel to Paris.

• Daily rate inclusive of travel expenses.
