Senior Product Designer
As a Senior Product Designer, you’ll work on the definition, design, and optimization of digital experiences across Vueling’s customer journey. You’ll collaborate closely with Product, UX Research, Content, Engineering, and Brand teams to identify opportunities, solve complex user problems, and deliver impactful solutions that balance user needs and business objectives. You’ll be responsible for leading design initiatives from discovery through delivery, ensuring a seamless and consistent experience across digital touchpoints while contributing to the evolution of Vueling’s design practices, standards, and design system.
What will the day-to-day look like?
● Develop wireframes, mock-ups, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that effectively communicate concepts and interactions to stakeholders.
● Design end-to-end user experiences across web and mobile products, ensuring usability, consistency, and business impact.
● Participate in discovery activities, helping define problems, explore solutions, and validate concepts through research and testing.
● Contribute to the evolution and adoption of company design system, ensuring consistency across digital products and touchpoints.
● Develop and maintain design documentation, guidelines, and best practices when needed.
● Work closely with Product Owners and Engineers to understand user needs, business goals, and technical constraints, translating them into effective design solutions.
● Lead design projects autonomously, driving initiatives from concept through implementation and iteration.
● Ensure design quality throughout development and collaborate with engineering teams to achieve successful implementation.
● Optimize and standardize design processes, including file management, documentation, version control, and collaboration.
What are we looking for?
● Proficiency with Figma design tool.
● Strong experience designing digital products for web and mobile platforms.
● Solid understanding of UX methodologies, interaction design, information architecture, and visual design.
● Experience working across the full product development lifecycle, from discovery to delivery.
● Knowledge of research, testing, and data-informed design practices.
● Familiarity with design systems and component-based design approaches.
● Understanding of accessibility principles and inclusive design.
