AMOS SME

The AMOS Subject Matter Expert (SME) provides deep functional and technical expertise in the AMOS Maintenance & Engineering (M&E) platform, supporting the delivery, stabilisation, and harmonisation of AMOS across IAG Operating Companies as part of the Single AMOS initiative.

Key Responsibilities: 

Act as a go-to AMOS expert across maintenance, engineering, and operational processes. Support delivery teams. 

Provide hands-on support for AMOS configuration, setup, and change, aligned to Group standards. 

Advise on configuration vs customisation. 

Support AMOS modules such as Line Maintenance, Work Packages, Defects, Planning, Qualifications, and Materials (as applicable). 

Translate operational requirements into clear AMOS solutions, user stories, and acceptance criteria. 

Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and PI events, providing SME input. 

Support UAT, defect triage, and production readiness activities. 

Support the transition of AMOS changes into BAU operations, ensuring stability and usability. 

Act as a point of escalation for complex AMOS incidents or functional issues. 

Work with support partners and vendors (e.g. Swiss-AS, system integrators) to resolve issues efficiently. 

Contribute to service documentation, runbooks, and support models. 

Stakeholder & Cross-Team Collaboration. 


Requirements:

· Strong hands-on experience with AMOS in an airline or MRO environment. 

· Solid understanding of Maintenance & Engineering operational processes. 

· Experience supporting AMOS in live operational environments. 

· Ability to work across delivery, BAU, and transformation contexts. 

· Comfortable working in Agile / SAFe-style delivery environments.

· Strong stakeholder communication skills. 

· Fluent English.
